A US passport for your Child
If your child was born in the US and you would like to obtain a passport for him or her, you will need the following information/documents:
- Fill out this application
- Passport photos (You can get them taken at Walgreens or Wal-Mart)
- Birth Certificate-2 certified copies
- Official Identification for each parent- matricula card is considered an official ID
- Proof of Residence
- Check or Money Order to pay for the passport cash or a written check for the local clerk of court to process the information. Fee information here.
Gather all of this information and take it to the Local Clerk of Court in your county of Residence. The child and both parents need to be present.
Local Libraries and Resources of Where to find literature in Spanish
Libraries offer a multitude of resources. In addition to books and magazines, there are DVDs, digital audiobooks or audiobooks on CD, music on CD, and children’s CDs with accompanying books. Online resources include access to eBooks and downloadable audiobooks through apps like Overdrive. They also have reference materials such as the Chilton auto repair manuals.
You can access these resources with a local library card. To apply for a library card, go to the library that serves the area where you live and bring in any official form of ID (your license, a matricula card, or a passport works) and an official piece of mail with your local address on it.
